It's taking me longer than I thought to write down a post about surgery week, so for now a few pictures from from the week for Miss K.
**There are photos of her incision further down the page, just a warning in case you're a bit squeamish, but they aren't that bad.

I came across your post when looking up information on lipomas. I'm a 40 year old adult woman who has lived with spina bifida, lipoma, tethered cord and syringomyelia. To look at me you wouldn't know there's a problem except for people occasionally commenting that I'm walking with a limp. I have an almost-four-year-old daughter.
ReplyDeleteI just wanted to post a comment wishing your family the best of luck.
Thanks for stopping by and for your comment. :) I think for the most part it is the same for K, no one knows unless they notice her braces and her unsteadiness.
ReplyDeleteYour little girl is beautiful! I hope these early surgeries make her future less painful or complicated. I was born with diastematomyelia and also have a lipoma and tethered cord, for starters. I'm a 41 year old mom of 3 miracle kids. My hear really goes out to you and your daughter!!! I hope and pray she never goes through what I have.
